⚖️ Simple Rules. By using HideGhost, you agree to these terms. Don't do illegal stuff, don't harass people, and don't abuse the service. We keep it simple because we respect your time.

HideGhost provides temporary, anonymous, end-to-end encrypted chat rooms with support for text messages, file sharing, and audio/video calls.
Key Features: All messages and files are AES-256 encrypted. All data is stored in RAM and automatically deleted after 5 minutes of inactivity or when manually ended by users. Nothing is saved permanently.
3. Prohibited Activities
⚠️ Prohibited Activities: The following activities are strictly forbidden. While we cannot enforce these due to encryption and anonymity, violating them may result in legal consequences from authorities.
You agree NOT to use HideGhost for:
- Illegal activities of any kind under any jurisdiction
- Child exploitation: Distribution, possession, or discussion of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Harassment, threats, or abuse of others
- Solicitation or exploitation of minors
- Terrorism-related activities or content
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- Impersonation or fraud
- Sale or distribution of illegal drugs, weapons, or contraband
- Human trafficking or exploitation
4. Content Moderation
While HideGhost provides end-to-end encryption for privacy, we want to be transparent:
- We cannot read your encrypted messages
- We cannot identify users (no accounts, no IP logs)
- We cannot verify abuse reports due to encryption
- We have no ability to moderate or monitor content
Privacy by design: Our architecture makes surveillance impossible - even for us. Use this power responsibly.
5. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your communications and any consequences thereof.
HideGhost is a tool. Like any tool, it can be used for good or bad purposes. We provide the platform; you control how it's used.
We are not responsible for:
- User-generated content
- Interactions between users
- Decisions made based on conversations
- Harm resulting from misuse of the service
6. No Warranty
HideGhost is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Prevention of all abuse or illegal activity
- That deleted data can be recovered (it can't - it's gone forever)
- Compatibility with all devices or browsers
7. Limitation of Liability
HideGhost, its operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the service
- Data loss (everything auto-deletes - that's the point)
- Actions, content, or behavior of other users
- Server crashes or downtime
- Any other matter relating to the service
8. Data Retention & Deletion
Automatic deletion: All messages, files, and room data are automatically deleted after 5 minutes of inactivity or when manually ended.
Manual deletion: You can end a chat at any time, which immediately deletes all data.
Server crash: If the server crashes, all RAM data is instantly and permanently lost.
⚠️ No Recovery: Once deleted, data is permanently gone and cannot be recovered.
9. Law Enforcement Cooperation
We will cooperate with law enforcement when legally required. However:
- We cannot provide historical messages (nothing is stored)
- We cannot decrypt messages (we don't have the keys)
- We cannot identify users (no accounts, no IP logs)
- We have no data to preserve or disclose
Built for privacy: Our architecture ensures that even under legal pressure, we have nothing to give.
10. Reporting Abuse
If you encounter illegal activity or violations of these terms, please report it through our Contact Form.
Important: Due to end-to-end encryption and our zero-data-collection model, we cannot verify or take action on reports. However, reports help us understand patterns of abuse.
11. Service Termination
We reserve the right to shut down or modify the service at any time without notice.
12. Intellectual Property
HideGhost's code, design, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our code without permission
- Use our name or branding for commercial purposes
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Your content: You retain all rights to your messages. By design, we don't store them anyway.
